Long Weekend Getaway to Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach

After a cold and rainy Spring and New England, a warm weather, long weekend getaway was exactly what we needed. Myrtle Beach proved to be the perfect spot. While Myrtle Beach has earned the moniker of "Golf Capital of the World," there's much more to experience.

Sea Watch Resort

During the four days we were there, we stayed at the Sea Watch Resort. The resort is located just 10 minutes north of the main strip, making it a very private and quiet location. The resort also boasts 6 pools, 10 hot tubs, a tiki bar, and many other amenities you'd expect in a top-notch resort. Be sure to check out Captains Cove, the resort's on-site restaurant, for their delicious breakfast buffet.
