Afternoon Hight Tea at Langham Hotel- Boston
Pinkies up ladies and gentlemen. No this isn't London,
this is High Tea in Boston.
Recently we made a reservation at the Langham Hotel in Boston for their Afternoon High Tea experience. When we walked into the lobby, our noses perked up and taste buds started dancing with the cornucopia of tea aromas. The lounge setting of the restaurant was both luxurious and modern. We were greeted by a hostess who took us to our white tablecloth setting with beautiful Wedgwood china.
The waiter provided us a large sampling of different black and green teas to choose from, all of which have been imported from London. Once we made our selections, the waiter came back over and served our tea selections in our own individual Wedgwood teapots.
Our meal was similar to that of a prix fixe menu, with the opportunity for add-ons upon request. As part of the experience we were provided an array of delicious finger sandwiches which were quite filling. However we made sure to save room for dessert, which included an assortment of pastries and scones. Luckily we were able to box a few we didn't finish, to enjoy later on that evening.
Afternoon High Tea at the Langham
Hotel is a luxury experience that we would highly recommend. The food,
service, and setting are all topnotch. It's a London experience right
in the heart of Boston. We're already looking forward to our next visit back.
